Right Subclavian Angioplasty
Case – 1
Did Right Subclavian Angioplasty for a patient who had recurrent Syncope (sudden loss of consciousness). There was complete occlusion of the blood vessel supply to the right hand. This leads to stealing of the blood from the brain via vertebral artery if person uses hand which in turn reduces blood to the posterior part of the brain. Angioplasty restores the blood supply to the hand again.
Case – 2
No need for CABG for multivessel localised stenosis of all three coronary arteries. Multivessel PTCA is a good first option for them.
