It is characterised by widespread inflammation in multiple organ systems. The treatment for MIS-C involves a combination of therapies aimed at reducing inflammation, managing complications, and providing supportive care.

Recovery from MODS and MIS-C can vary depending on the severity of the condition, the effectiveness of treatment, and individual factors.
